Through the forests of time.

My entry for theme 1 of *Ilyana88 's contest.



Well this is Apache if you didn't know The contest theme was to depict horses in history. I chose to do when the Spanish arrived in North America and Central America. They brought horses which then, after their fright, the Natives raised and tamed. The Native Americans created the breed of Appaloosas. This is Apache is visiting the deep jungle in Central America of somewhere with a lot of grass . I have drawn an old Spanish helmet that was used in that time period, and also a old rapier.

OK well i am extremely proud of this piece! Although i feel that it needs something more like a bird of some other piece of detail. If you guys have any idea! tell me!

Its foggy and misty what ever that was fun to do so the back end of the horse is foggy.

No crits please i worked on this for over 2 months.
And i think i am sick of drawing grass
